I guess you aren't a Nats fan and know who Dusty Baker is.

if you knew anything about baseball, you know that the manager has been minimized in their power/role and it flows from the GM/front office.

dusty baker's gm is white.

Are all GMs and President of Baseball Ops white males? I cannot think of one who is not, and yes, with analytics, the FOs have substantial say. Also, as of last year, there were only four women in baseball ops and two of them are with the dodgers. There should be more diversity overall in front offices and in managing positions.

Yep. He has regressed. I'd like MLB to better promote its latin players like Lindor and Correa, and African-American players like Adam Jones and Dexter Fowler. I'm, so sick of Harper, guy is a douche.

Harper is batting almost .400. He deserves the hype.

If you knew anything about baseball, you would know that the manager, not the GM makes all in-game decisions That is Dusty; That is why Matt Williams was fired. Rizzo is Dusty's boss, but is not in the dugout during the game.

They don't call it the national past time for nothing. Summer, beers, hotdog, baseball this is an staple american event for generations. It's like celebrating the 4th of july.

This number is thrown around, but I wonder if even the Yankees would lock themselves into this kind of deal. I think 8 years may be the max he could get and maybe somewhere in the $30m-$35m per year range. There will be a number of high-profile free agents in 2018 and Harper's 2015 is more an outlier than a predictor of future production. I would take a cheaper Michael Brantley (assuming he stays healthy) at under $20m per year mark than Harper. Not that much difference.

Have you felt the heat bearing down on you most games in that stadium that was somehow designed to ensure that your seat reaches 150 degrees F by the 3rd inning of a day game? Only white people have a chance of deflecting the sun rather than absorbing it. The tin hats they wear help too.

You seem racist.

For being concerned that minorities are underrepresented?

I find the Fourth of July to be heavy with racist baggage.
