yes, it can make you very bad tempered and long term it can interfere with your heart - which can show up in early signs of BAD TEMPER.

NP, sleep deprivation can cause irritability and the need for caffeine. Is she getting enough sleep, OP? Could you hire some evening help to give her a break after coming home from work? She may be an introvert who needs some time to herself to recharge.
