Caffeine pills are NOT addictive. You pee it out everyday. If you quit taking them there is no withdrawal. You simply go about your day.

Probably 95% on here are on some pharmaceutical and have their kids on them too. Wait until you all quit Adderall.

careful bringing up the pill-popping habits of DCUM participants, or how heavily they medicate their kids. touchy subjects!

...but now that you mention it, it's sort of sick how DCUMMERS so aggressively push pills on their kids, whose brains are still developing. sounds like bad parenting to me!

OP, are you also the same poster who found a six pack of Mountain Dew under your son's bed, felt utterly betrayed, and couldn't understand why someone would want to drink something other than milk or water?

Caffeine pills equivalent to a cup of coffee are not a gateway drug to anything. She probably bought them in bulk because it's cheaper. I drink at least six cups of black coffee per day and don't consider myself to be any kind of drug addict. Would you really punish your 20/21 year old for drinking coffee? It sounds like you would have to confront her if you thought she had gone to a party or had sex, too. I'm surprised she's willing to come home for the holidays.

Some of these responses are hilarious. I took caffeine pills in college. 1-2 a day. Hate coffee and tea, didn't want to go the energy drink route. Never tried any illegal drug and don't rely on any prescription drugs. Never drank alcohol to "come down" off caffeine pills. I had the equivalent of 2.5 cups of coffee a day. Way less than what I saw other people drink.

Are there people who abuse caffeine pills? Of course. There are people who abuse caffeine of any kind.

Did you mean black market?

"Black beauty" was what one kind of speed was called in the '70s. I assume that's what PP means?
