+! Tell us, surely you must find the natives whiny and weak? LOL. |
Enjoy no one caring what you have to say. Just because someone doesn't talk out of their nose (or arse, more accurately) does not mean they are loud. It is hard to respect someone who is timid; not so someone who is louder than you. Own what you are, and don't worry so much about other people. You might learn something. NAH. Clearly you came here to pick a fight, and troll on someone you don't like. I am not loud, but I would never condemn the fascinating people in my life who are. My God. You have problems. |
Let's see... persnickety, petty, hyper critical, timid, self hater. These are all words you have used to describe someone you don't know, whose only question was why some people always talk in loud voices. And yet you accuse others of trying to pick fights. Someone said it before, and I will repeat it: you are a nut job. With transference problems. Talk to the person you're really hating on. You need to get this out in real life. |
Transference problems - LOL. This gets better. And the fact that you think there is one person responding is even better. Are you always this paranoid? And (in your own words) persnickety, petty, hyper critical, timid and self hating.......

Not true! I'm a loud talker and mortified because of it. I'm hard of hearing and try very hard to modulate but am rarely successful. I envy people who have soft voices even though I can't hear much of what they're saying. |
THANK YOU for being self aware. But you have an entirely valid reason for being loud. |
I'm from a West Indian family, and when we get together, we're loud. Argue loudly, laugh loudly, etc. Was never aware of this until my husband, who was raised in England and comes from a reserved family, starting coming home for the holidays and commenting on it. Oh well. ![]() |
Lets just agree the introverts need to stay in their cubes with earphones. |
I see two groups of people.
The loud people think quiet ones are weak, suspicious, sneaky, timid, lacking in social skills, low social status, weird, and not worthy of respect. Loud people think they themselves are worthy of respect (due to the volume of their voices), high social status, more interesting, more fun to be around, more socially skilled, more confident, more successful. The quiet ones think loud people are rude, overbearing, annoying, irritating, lacking in empathy, self centered, superficial, and lacking in self awareness. The quiet ones think they themselves are more intelligent, more sensitive, more empathetic, more aware, more introverted, more observant. People shouldn't be judged based on their skin color, religion, sexual preferences, height, weight, fashion sense, social status, looks, economic status, or volume of their voices. Can't we all just get along? |
Oh hey Rosie O'Donnell had no idea you were on DCUM ![]() |
+1 How old are you, OP? Who else do you hate? |
I don't watch Rosie O'Donnell, so I don't understand the reference. |
OP, tell us - who loudly told you off in McLean Giant? |
Rosie just accused Barron Trump of having aspergers. |
] I wouldn't accuse any child of having anything. But adults who who can't cope with those around them, truly are emotionally stunted, among other things. |
