With no love. Much attacks on the ankles. Kicking litter from his box of poo as far as he is able to kick it. Glaring from the lizard eyes at me with much contempt.

He has taken to stealing small items of importance to me such as rings, hair bands, earrings, he stole my false eyelashes for one eye, has taken phone charger and chewed in half, and has made off with money that is cash. I believe he may be putting away assets in attempt to leave me. Or has maybe issue with ocd hoarding. Maybe both. But for sure he has angry ferocious house jaguar loud meows that give him away when he is making these thefts.

I have many hours of much fun to watch on my phone of house jaguar and full icloud of photos! He is very handsome boy! Teeth of whitest snow, sharp like machete and fur of blackest night! Purrs of largest loudest lawnmower!

I promise you my kitty may indeed be sweet deep down, but he has a tolerance of zero for any neck scratches. He would rather be forced to endure playtime with me blindfolded in a room of birds than be subjected to any sort of petting by a human person. Very uncivilized to his kind, I think.

Now I reach in to provide scratches and make pets... Kitty swipes paw around my hand and pulls tight towards his mouth of tuna breath... then holds on while making furious licks with tongue of one thousand tiny sand papers.

He is... cleaning me? Or perhaps trying to take off several layer of skin to eat? Maybe both? But he hold onto my hand very secure while he licks, of course if I make move to give pets he dashes away showing eyes of hate at me.

Soon I plan I catch him and take cuddles from him in my arms. He will enjoy, if not enjoy, he will tolerate. I want cuddles from cat.

You and kitty are making lots of progress towards cuddling. You're interacting and communicating. He likes to sleep on your head. He's even grooming you, which is another sign of love. My kitty also sleeps near my head and in the morning holds my head in her front paws and tries to groom my bald head (i lost my hair in cancer treatment) It feels like sandpaper. When I first got her, and interrupted this grooming, she would back away and jump off the bed. Now she lets me pet her gently while she grooms. When she's done, she often snuggles into my neck for nap, allowing me to pet her.

However, if I sit up and try to pick her up and cuddle in my lap, she'll go away. So I just sit up, maybe go to the couch and get comfortable, and call her name to get her to jump up on my lap on her own. Most of the time, she comes, but sometimes she still prefers her private kitty time on her climbing structure. When she's ready, climbs back on my lap.

I have had her for three years and she never lets me pick her up willingly. She will, though, come when I call her.

You're getting there. Just keep communicating with her and enjoying the love she is showing you.

Thank you for sharing this. I have great appreciation and hope after reading. I did not know kitty was grooming me! You give good advice on allowing the grooming and waiting for kitty to complete his licking of me. I am wishing you well to your cancer treatment, friend. Much hope to you.

Tiny ferocious house jaguar does come if I call out "kitty kitty kitty", but ignore all calls of his given name, much like stubborn teenager. He makes much refuse to eat treats or wet food, which makes my heart sad. Only crunchy food for his teeth to munch like bones.

I have now caught him twice at the top of the screen door, hanging by his cat dragon talons, looking outside at the birds... Many more times I suspect he has climbed like small warrior in black furry ninja suit to the top of the screen, but yet only 2 times has he been caught... this may be a plea to continue our walks in the "cat forest". but I know for certain spider screen climbing ninja house jaguar will not be allowed to scale screen. this he will not defeat me.

and he continue to attack ankles. he is master of hide and attack. sigh.
