"You can take the Gangsta outta the hood-but you can't take the hood outta the gangsta"-look what happened to Tupac and Biggie. They are all businessmen worth many millions-many of them still act like "Gangstas" and/or thugs. Tupac even tatooed his belly-Thug 4 life. |
My absolute favorite. A rare moment when he was 100% relevant, and 100% true. |

This is very interesting-maybe someone will take Kanye out next. |
| Sad thing is Kanye was the child of an English professor-yet he cannot even utter a simple sentence without sounding like an ignorant fool. His mama clearly did not teach him how to speak or behave properly. |
| He should be banned from attending. Then he'll say it's because he is black. |
|
It's funny to me how he is only targeting those who are not those that intimidate, you know what I mean....??
He knows that Taylor Swift and Beck are pretty passive-type people and will pretty much laugh it off and move on and let Kanye do his thang his own way. I would love to see Kanye go up and take the glory from someone like Suge Knight, Tyrese, Mike Tyson or some other big black strong guy, etc. He wouldn't dare. I really can't stand Kanye. He is nothing to me. It's obvious he is with Kim K. for her sexuality. Before she was with him, she was trying so hard to downplay her sexuality and was ashamed of the whole "sex tape" publicity. She claimed she wanted people to forget that aspect of her and to not only associate her with her sensual side. However since being with Kanye, it has all been about being sexy and sex sex and more sex. She posed nude for that magazine and has been discussing her sex life openly which she never did prior, plus Kanye has even mocked her sex tape, as he did in one of his rap songs. What kind of man would disrespect a woman by doing that....?? |
| Kanye is pure scum! |
These "Rappers" are simply Gang Bangers with a ton of money! |
OMG!! You mean Apple, the world's second-largest information technology company by revenue after Samsung Electronics and the world's third-largest mobile phone maker, just has a thug on their payroll?!!! OMG!! My iPhone...is...is it somehow linked to gang activity? When I download music using iTunes am I unknowingly paying for guys in San Quentin to have cigarettes? DAMN YOU DR. DAMN YOU APPLE FOR HIRING DR. DRE AND BEATS CO-FOUNDER JIMMY IOVINE IN UNDISCLOSED ROLES!! BAN APPLE!! BOYCOTT APPLE!! THEY'VE GOT A THUG IN THEIR MIDST!! YOU CAN TAKE THE GANSTA OUTTA THE HOOD BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THE HOOD OUTTA THE GANGSTA!! |

If you look at how they lived their lives, there are some pretty big differences between Dre and Tupac.
I also think it's a little thin to say 50 is just a businessman and anyone who thinks he's a thug is racist. When you sell a persona to the world, it's not unfair when the world continues to see you that way. |
| I bet he and Beyoncé are a thing. It must be tought on everyone else. Why else would he be so upset. |
Dre ain't no angel-he just gotta whole lotta money to cover up all his evil doings. Dr. Dre has been convicted in multiple cases of violence against women and a police officer. In February 1992, Dr. Dre faced trial as a defendant in lawsuit filed by Dee Barnes, a Fox TV host who claimed she was assaulted by Young. Dr. Dre plead no contest and was sentenced to a fine of $2500, 240 hours of community service, and 24 months of probation. Barnes stated that Young "began slamming her face and the right side of her body repeatedly against a wall near the stairway." Dr. Dre later commented "People talk all this shit, but you know, somebody fucks with me, I'm gonna fuck with them. I just did it, you know. Ain't nothing you can do now by talking about it. Besides, it ain't no big thing – I just threw her through a door."[149] Singer Michel'le recently accused him of physical abuse during their time together as a couple, but did not initiate legal action. [150] Dr. Dre plead guilty in October 1992 in a case of battery of a police officer and was convicted on two additional battery counts stemming from a brawl in the lobby of the New Orleans hotel in May 1991 |
+1 He should be sanctioned from the Grammys. There are many people there who do not want to be next to a thug with mental problems. |
sure looks that way-money talks-even for a thug! |
I have to disagree. Outside of Shug Knight, I can't think of anyone from that era who is legitimately (not part of a persona) involved in that lifestyle anymore. 50 cent (like Ice Cube, Diddy, Dr. Dre, Ice T, Jay Z) used rap to break into the entertainment business and music has become an afterthought. Even Kanye West would probably quit rapping if his dreams of being a serious fashion designer came true. These guys know where the money is and it's not in making music. |
