Who cares about Kanye - real story is that Beyoncé got robbed. Kanye's stunt was childish and out-of-line for that moment and that venue, but his opinion that Album of the Year should have gone to Beyoncé was not at all out-of-line.
Truth is the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences were pissed at Beyoncé because she surprised the entire music industry by releasing her latest self-titled album only on iTunes first with no warning, no other promotion, no launch parties, no advance radio play, none of the traditional pre-sale retail hype -- she turned the industry upside down in a sense and showed how a true star can break the industry glass ceiling and they didn't like it. Period. Beck didn't deserve that award.
