Beyonce and Jay Z were quietly horrified that Kanye was going on stage again, so when he turned around and people realized he was making a joke, the relief was enormous and everyone laughed, including Jay Z and Beyonce. Beck also laughed! Beck waved Kanye back and tried to get him back on stage. He has said he has enormous respect for Kanye and would like to work with him sometime. This is not the big deal that you are trying to make it into.

Kanye West is no more of a narcissist than Alec Baldwin or Russell Brand, so I think it's weird how much hate he gets from the blond ponytail Lexus driving soccer mom crowd here -- oh wait, I guess that explains it.

It's funny though, because Beck didn't mind. He likes Kanye. He wants to work with him in the future. He tried to get Kanye to come back onstage after he turned around and sat down. So why are YOU upset about it?

Also, sales of Beck's album have gone up 5000%, and while some of that is from the Grammy itself, much of it is from Kanye's move because of all the publicity and increased exposure West gave it. So it has actually worked out well for Beck. All future Grammy winners should consider themselves lucky if West gets up on stage during your award speech!
