No, I would NOT advocate taking their kids away if the family were black or low income. I've actually done child advocacy/guardian ad-liem work, and taking someone's kids away is not something to be done lightly. Also, it is (rightfully) hard to get your kids taken away from you. You get second chances, parenting classes, etc. Now, they might take away the kids and put them in foster care until there can be an emergency hearing, but honestly, that will probably traumatize the kids more. |
So they took the car so they could take the kids? |
the banality of evil |

It was probably easier for them to leave the kids home alone until the oldest learned how to climb out of the crib. Probably safer to have them strapped into car seats.
Oy vey. |
| Wonder what they said when they were arrested. And what their defense will be. |
| Wonder if they'll turn on each other. |
| They'll get a great lawyer and work some deal where they plead guilty for a much lesser offense. |
Only if they are planning to divorce. |
They'll say they had no intent to neglect them and that they lost track of the time. Depending on the judge they'll get probation and community service since it's probably their first offense. |
| Their nanny obviously doesn't work on Saturdays. |
What about the part about leaving them in the car in the first place? |
You would think if they wanted to attend the wine tasting, they would spring for a few extra hours... Seriously, why did they have kids? |
I think the nanny did it. They made nanny work on Saturday and walked to Ris Nanny was pissed, put the kids in be car, parked it near Ris and then walked home The nanny set them up! |
