And I don't care what size clothes you where or where you buy them. A guy has eyes, he's going to make a judgement based on what he sees. I do agree though, put a recent full-body picture online. No surprises. It's better for your self-esteem and will weed out the guys that aren't into your type.

Sorry but there are not unless they are also very overweight. There is a difference between a guy who does not care for a woman who is like a stick and one that is not. OP is obese and that is the reality and there are not a lot of guys who like obese women.

Lol - you sound stupid. First of all go google "bbw dating" and see how many frigging sites pop up. Next I want you to investigate a little more and peep the profiles and descriptions men on these sights seeking a larger lady so you can see for yourself that its not just overweight men who like overweight women. If anything its the opposite - think Kermit and Miss Piggy.

You know Kermit and Miss Piggy aren't people, correct?

Actually, you are the one who is an idiot. Citing websites that cater to fetishes does not establish the norm. Most guys would not want to date an obese woman and vice versa.

You know I found the most early-childhood-education-like analogy possible cause the PP who thinks only fat guys like fat girls seems educationally challenged, right?

I'm a chick that likes dudes but weight isn't a factor for me at all, so I would date your male equivalent without hesitation if we otherwise are compatible. My husband has gone from a little overweight to obese, and the health concerns are the only factor for me.

Just as many men hit on me at my heaviest (199) as my thinnest (116) adult weight. I definitely get the most male attention at what I consider my healthiest weight (150) but that's a BMI of 27.2 --definitely overweight and not far under obese.

OP, I'm 5'7" and currently 213 lbs. Was 206 when I married, 231 at my peak (after 2 kids) and trying to work my way back down south of 200.

My husband met me, dated me, proposed to me, all at the 200+ mark. My clothing sizes range from 14-18 in the 200-230 zone, depending on brand, style, etc...

It is out there. Focus on your overall self-esteem, not the numbers. People believe what they perceive so don't broadcast your insecurities, try to work from what is great about you.

Good luck!

Are you sure you wear a size 14??

NP here, but I just want to correct all those folks comparing their weight with OPs and questioning her size. People's weight can be vastly different while being the same size. It's the density of your body that makes the difference. For example, if you compare a couple of babies - some just feel much heavier than others but are relatively the same size. Another example - I knew a friend who was anorexic - hospitalized anorexic, not just the DCUM "I'm skinny" anorexic. But, at her lowest (when she had to be hospitalized) she weighed 120. But she was emaciated. She was very sick. Her body couldn't sustain such a "low" weight. While for someone like me who is lighter in weight but bigger in size, at 130 I'm a size 6 or 8.

Please don't use weight as the indicator. I'm not saying OP isn't overweight or unhealthy or whatever else people are assuming - I'm not making any judgments about her - but I would use her size as the indicator rather than her weight.

Me, personally, don't think a size 14 is huge at all - yes, it's overweight, but it's not "fat" to me. So, if I were a man, I'd probably date you

OP here - I have a date this weekend and went shopping for an outfit last night. Went to whitehouse/blackmarket and bought jeans size 14 (snug but not too small, the 16 was too roomy) and a size 16 top. Bought a new bra 40DDD. Anyways I really can't believe this turned into a thread about me lying about my size. I had lipo 10 years ago when I weighed 190. Gained weight 8 years later. Starting losing 6 months ago. Thank you for the helpful replies, I'm really taking what you said to heart. I'm focused on my weight watchers and I'm hoping to meet someone who likes me for who I am right now. I just recently got back into dating and wanted done advice, so thank you!

OP again- this is the body that most closely resembles mine, except my boobs are much bigger. Thanks for posting, PP!

Good luck on your date, OP!

I met my husband when I was overweight, married as obese, and have been normal - obese at various times since then. It can be done!

Personally I think that is hot. If you asked me I'd guess she weighed 170-175.

First of all, if you are 215 lbs at 5'8 you are not a size 14. I'm a 12 and weigh 180, same height.

Secondly - I can't stand when fat women say they have big boobs (again, I do too). Boobs are made of fat. You have big boobs because you are fat.

I don't think it would hurt to start dating - but you have to be realistic about your options. And don't post a pic where you are way skinnier than you are now.

It depends how you carry your weight. I am overweight 5'5 and weight 194lbs and am a size 14 ( some are baggy 14 depending on brand i.e not tight) so 19lbs and 3inches taller could definitely be a size 14. Just because it is not for you doesn't mean it is not for her bodytype.
