Any indication as to when the decision will be made?

WMATA buses have over 120 lines, and they are only running 10 of them. Why do you suppose that is?

It's not about being resourceful. It's about being realistic.

OPM open tomorrow with 2 hour delay allowed. DCPS will likely follow. Same transportation system.

True. If Feds are expected in by mid morning teachers are too.

How will a delayed opening help the people who take the buses that don't start running until noon?

Good point. Buses are pretty much off tomorrow. Why does it matter if the commute is at 8 or at 10?

Guess neighborhood options need to be reconsidered.

Please - call a cab, make arrangements with a friend. Figure something out. With a delay it is not in the realm of the impossible.

Some kids and some parents won't be able to get there - no big deal. On the whole it will be positive to be open.

Just announced on twitter by Mayor Gray... DC govt and schools... two hour delay.

The only school system not to already make an announcement. Stop sending me PR tweets and send me some useful info before I go to bed.
