I am 36 and my DH is 57. We have a 4 year old daughter and I am pregnant with our second daughter. He was a late bloomer, and I absolutely love him.

I'll be 30 when my divorce is final. I'm not interested in dating someone who is almost 50. I even have a hard time with someone nearing 40. Too daddy-issues-complex for me.

Eleven year age difference here, happily married for 30 years and still going strong … thank God I didn't marry any of the guys close to my age, I would have been divorced many times over! Btw, this is a second marriage, I was 28 and a professional and he was 39 ….

The cited study actually explicitly mentions that "age made no difference in sex chromosome abnormalities, which can caus... mental problems" as highlighted above. Therefore, yes the cited study did address your concern and indicated that it should not be a concern.

You do realize the article you are quoting is actually over 10 yrs old and a lot of research has been done on this since. Your article also states it was a small study of only 97 men. I think if you dig around you will find that these researchers are probably married to younger women and may not be the best folks to do this study. On top of that it was only done on a small sampling of men
