Do you think if skylight is in bathroom next to bedroom, it will still be too loud to sleep when it rains?

We have a skylight in the bathroom next to our bedroom and it is not loud at all when raining.

I love the sound of loud rain! I think I may get a skylight!

At least half of the classes and lessons for DC before she was five. About a third of such activities before she was seven. I so wish I had the money back.

PP- what classes were a waste and which ones were a little more worthwhile?

Yeah, well......rain falling on glass above your head is a lot different that hearing it through the window or even on the roof. And when it hails.......forget it!

YUP. That is why I go with city and county activities now, at $60 for a set of classes. There is NO ballet lesson for a 4 year old worth $300 a semester.

Even with a mattress pad the thing absorbs sweat like the sponge that it is and it stinks in the summer. Like a jockstrap full of shweddy ballz. $2000. Lifetime warranty. After this summer I'm putting out in the alley for big trash pick up. It's 3 years old. Fuuuuuuuuuu*k.
thank you thank you!!!
I was looking at one last week...

I wasted so much money on kids clothes
...and a massage chair...

I am done with the expensive kids clothes. They don't hold up. I just bought an expensive dress for my dd a Jacadi, it shrank, and lloks so cheap now after two washings. Complete waste.

I don't have this problem with mine. I use a waterproof mattress pad, so there is no sweat soaked into the mattress. I also don't think it is actually any hotter than any other bed I have owned. I do know that there are no dust mites, and that is an absolute plus.

Okay, I need to know you. I just laughed so hard...awesome. And I was thinking of that mattress...no more!

What have I wasted money on? How about a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins in Counseling. I got it and have since realized that I really do not like listening to people's problems, ouch. I mean, I am better for it, but could I not have bought some self-help books?

I have gone through 7 strollers, the recent biggest waste is this sit and stand mess,, a Joombi or something like that. It steers like a cruiseship. All I needed was the snap and go and my Silver Cross umbrella stroller, five years old and still kicking. WHY did I buy the Peg system?!?!?! STUPID. In a city? STUPID.

I also bought every kind of sling and holder. Waste. My favorite thing that I DID use for a minute but then became a waste was this bra thingy you put your boobs and just your nipples hang out so you can attach the pumps and not use your hands. My hubby thought it was for him...kinky. Nooooo....I keep that thing around just to laugh. What a waste!
