Maybe you were not paying attention, but Harris's campaign focused on things like stopping post0covid price gouging, getting costs down particularly healthcare, making more fair the tax code, and investing in the American people and not billionaires.

She did not campaign on pronouns or gender non-conformity, though when asked, advocated for the civil rights of ALL Americans.

And yet, there is no reason to believe she would have done differently than Biden to sign off on redefining the meaning of biological sex to mean gender.

It’s the easiest thing to scare people with and doesn’t take much effort. Harder to talk about let alone offer affordable healthcare with all the lobbyists staking claims on candidates and policy. Trump has already pivoted and said gas prices won't be going down before the midterms. MAGA got the message its patriotic to wrack up credit card debt to pay for groceries and gas if those 7 trans American athletes are barred from playing sports.

There's no candidate yet. And typical of Democrats, they seem to rely on Trump being unpopular. But that is exactly how someone like Tucker Carlson becomes president. Democrats already made that mistake and threw in the deeply unpopular, 82 year old Joe Biden, which is why have this mess. Democrats really need to focus on getting a compelling candidate, even if it's a green alien from Mars of indeterminate gender.

You act like there should be a candidate already. It is super early. Just because we want it to be over doesn't mean there isn't a lot of time left, plenty for someone to emerge.

My favorites are the people who have fought back, among whom Mark Kelly is the most dignified. But I would also very gladly vote for Chris Murphy or Osoff.

Murphy/Kelly ticket. Georgia needs Ossoff. Can Pennsylvania find someone to primary the Neanderthal currently cosplaying as a Democrat.

He is currently practicing law in private practice. However, it looks like he is stepping light back into politics, so maybe he will give it another run with enough support.

Ro Khanna would be a good fit. Pushed for the Epstein Files to be released, and is against Israel's genocide and their control of our government.

Or, maybe this is all by design to keep us angry at each other and divided and not demanding anything hard that would move the needle in improving our lives, which is mainly where constituents of both parties and independents align pretty well. We have far more in common, but we are set up against each other constantly, and this is reaching the levels never seen before because of social media and AI.
