Honestly, that's a good race for Democrats. No more 80 year olds, or wives of former presidents, or accidental vice presidents shoved into a race at the last minute. Democrats haven't had a proper race in a gazillion years.
A Newsom and AOC match up will be very clarifying for Democrats. And whoever wins that will likely win the White House in 2028.
If these are your two high flyers, then democrats are in more trouble than I thought.
