Trump gambled and lost (he did after all bankrupt casinos).

He thought the world would never to turn to China because of how "terrible" and untrustworthy they are. Well, Trump is even worse and even less trustworthy.

This really is the beginning of the end of this once great country. For those of us who have an out (dual citizenship), we're lucky. Feel sorry for those who despise Trump but are stuck here, namely those without means.

This needs to be a huge, unequivocal failure for the US. And as an American, I know I will pay the price for our failure. We deserve it for allowing such a garbage person to be elected.

Innocent people were already suffering. In any case, the best case scenario is that this is the thing that pushes the blue wave in the senate along with the house and we put a stop to it all.

Get your head out of your behind. The Democratic leaders are in favor of this war. They are every bit as corrupted by Zionist money, especially Schumer.

We can get rid of those folks, no problem. Please don’t be so stupid as to suggest that both of the parties are the same.

Oh, really, and pray tell, what is your plan for getting rid of Schumer and most of the party's politicians? The idea of a propagandized moron like you telling anyone not to be stupid.

Uh oh, somebody is so grouchy! Maybe hustle down to the break room and get yourself a Snickers bar…?

It’s not most, you big silly. However, it’s easy to track who is getting AIPAC money. It’s become more of a litmus test with every election cycle.

Is this supposed to distract from the fact but you didn't answer the question or are you so stupid that you don't know you didn't answer the question?

If I wanted to distract you I’d throw a ball. Listen, I really feel like your inbreeding might be affecting your reading comprehension. I’ll give you a little practice and let you go back and read it again, but we can give you a fun hint.

AIPAC funding is an issue now. It was not before. Once a thing is known, one can act on it.

Pretend that you are buying a banana. A banana is a curved fruit that grows in clusters. It’s technically a berry, but you don’t have to worry your little head about that. Let say you don’t know anything about bananas (a fair assumption at this point). You just buy them. Sometimes they are good, and sometimes they are yucky-poo and you throw them off your high chair.

Then, you learn on Sesame Street that bananas should be “ripe.” Once you know this fact you can be better about choosing bananas. Sure, they won’t all be great, but you now have information about how to shop and, on average, you can be a better consumer of bananas.

Now think hard about how this might apply to voting and AIPAC.

NP. Debate tip: Being this rude while saying nothing of value reflects on you, not your opponent. Not sure what you thought you were doing, but this isn't it.

Thank goodness the UN is holding an emergency meeting to discuss the Minaj girls school tragedy that trump caused. Hopeful he can be stopped and we can see some relief.

“UN rights council set to hold urgent debate on Friday over Iran school strike
The UN human rights council is ready to hold a second urgent debate this week linked to the Middle East war, focused on a deadly strike on an Iranian school.

The council president, Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro, told the United Nations’ top rights body that the council bureau had examined a request by Iran, China and Cuba for an urgent debate in connection with the airstrike on a school in the southern city of Minab on the first day of the war on 28 February, and “concluded that said urgent debate could be accommodated on Friday”.

The council would be asked to validate the decision later on Wednesday, he said.”

“Analysis: Trump’s war in Iran exposes US’s shift from a global guardian to an arbiter of chaos
Eduardo Porter
To shield ordinary Indians from the war in Iran, the government in Delhi redirected supplies of liquefied gas to Indian families, for which it is the main cooking fuel, limiting supplies to the plastics industry. The Nepalese government rationed gas and the Philippines trimmed the government workweek to four days. Bangladesh closed universities and rationed fuel.

They have been hardest hit by Iran’s closure of the strait of Hormuz. About 80% of oil and oil products transiting through the strait in 2025 was destined for Asia, according to the International Energy Agency. But traffic through its waters has collapsed by 90%.

Europe is less reliant on fuel from the Middle East. But it is intensely dependent on imported oil and, critically, natural gas, whose price has surged since US and Israeli bombardments began in Iran.

So far, the advanced economy that has shown most resilience as war in the Middle East wreaks havoc in energy markets is that of the United States. The S&P 500 index has lost a relatively modest 5% since the beginning of Trump’s war. And that reveals a lot about where we are going.

The data speaks to the relative resilience of the US economy and, especially, its abundance of domestic natural gas, which satisfies about 36% of its energy needs and insulates it to a significant degree from the vagaries of international prices.

But it adds an uncomfortable chapter to the main narrative of the world economy. It is a story in which the United States – once a guardian of a rules-based global order – dons the role of its nemesis, recklessly spreading havoc among friends and foes while suffering relatively little harm of its own.

You can read Eduardo Porter’s analysis here:

Trump’s war in Iran exposes US’s shift from a global guardian to an arbiter of chaos.”

This is typical maga behavior. Be the most horrible person in every room and then cry and claim victimhood when someone treats you the same. It’s the same weak and pathetic thing we see out of them day after day. Fake bravado and insults, then the whining and crying when called on it. Perhaps that poster should more carefully consider their words?

I love that Spain is closing its air space to the US military. I hope the rest of Europe follows suit.

As a French person, whose great-aunt received a medal for serving in the Resistance and who narrowly escaped being caught, it blows my mind that we're closing ranks with Germany in the face of our erstwhile savior, the USA, not even a hundred years after D-Day!

Mind-boggling. I can tell you that Europeans have had their whole worldview completely shattered by this bizarre leader Trump. We have far-right factions too, but the very few that managed to grab higher office in various EU nations have proven a lot more circumspect than Trump. Trump is just not well in the head. He's hurtling into another world war, and then China will pick up the pieces. WHY?

I have two sons, one in college, one in high school and I'll be damned if I allow either one to be conscripted into a military led by a mentally ill maniac. I'll get them out of the country before that happens and making plans for it now. It is shocking to me that he is literally treating our marines and Air Force like pawns. Many will die and for what? The whim of a crazy person desperate to make sure no one reveals he is a pedofile who likely molested his daughter?

I was with you until the likely molested daughter comment.

We have a few more years of this. I both hang on to the hope that I can live through and do ok despite him.
And also get sad when I think he will only get older, worse, and hang on to power. or corrupt power for generations.

NP here. For his own selfish reasons including self-preservation. He’s busting up the country into pieces and offering everything to the highest bidders— and those he’s scared of. The guy is loaded with dirty destructive secrets that certain people know well. This is what security clearances are for, folks. To protect our country and keep power out of the hands of a dangerously corrupt person who can destroy the entire USA and alter life as we know it. Unfortunately for all of us, this douchebag who would’ve failed a background check within a minute is now POTUS and selling everything including the kitchen sink.

Canadian here. Yes Trump is a terrible leader, a despicable person, a liar, a cheater, a narcissist, probably demented, all of that.
But what we can’t understand is why you voted him in twice, and why now, with your 10x population we have, you can’t get rid of him. Why are you powerless?
