Let me clarify that as someone who has choices about dual citizenship (versus someone whose country of birth considers them as a subject and therefore belonging to their sovereign or whoever), leaving just proves you were never committed to defending the US. |
Why would you be committed to a country that had every chance to avoid it, and not only did it anyway, but still has a large percentage of people that are happy with what is going on? If Americans don’t take the house and senate back in November the country is done for decades, if not forever. |
I mean….first amendment? |
|
US offered defensive weapons to Ukraine on condition that Ukraine not attack Russia territory.
Europe should offer same to USA. |
Thomas Jefferson has some advice for you, 250 years young. |
Committing to another country, I don't have an issue with. I do have an issue with people who have hold multiple passports and have no commitment to any country, except to get the benefits. They do not care about protect their so-called homelands. (Again, this does not apply to people considered akin to chattle by their country of birth.) |
Americans control the House and Senate. You may hate these Americans but they are Americans who do not want to be like Europe or Haiti. |
|
Why do people assume that dual citizens cannot have allegiance to two countries? I have two children and love them both. Loving one child doesn’t stop me from loving the other.
Dual citizen |
Do these Americans want to commit war crimes? |
No, the house and senate are controlled by traitors. |
Thomas Jefferson couldn’t possibly foresee what the country has become. |
Because you are talking with people who have no ability to understand anyone other than themselves. They cannot comprehend that other people have a range of emotions and ideas that compel them to act in many different ways. Basically they have a small mind. |
That doesn't make sense, you should make it be about marrying two spouses and having 2 families that are 1000s of miles apart with different religion, culture, and values. |
|
Back to the topic…
it appears that Downing Street is refusing to say out right that the UK will not allow the US to use to use British bases for American air attacks against Iran that are specifically targeting infrastracture like bridges or power stations. When asked about a report for the i indicating that Britain will refuse to allow Donald Trump to use RAF bases for any strikes on Iranian bridges or power plants, a spokesperson said No 10 would not provide a “running commentary” on what the US was doing, including its use of British bases. |
Why does that make more sense? Dual citizenship doesn’t necessarily involve extremes. Values and religion can be the same. Culture doesn’t have to be wildly different. Even if they are different, that doesn’t make it a problem. People are capable of complex thought and emotions. |
