I was in a sorority in the 90s and there was none of that. My daughter has joined a sorority and the same as true. I don’t know what her friends are experiencing, but I know none of my friends and other sororities experiencing of the sort of things that are degrading or dangerous. Maybe we just didn’t choose to be with people who would enjoy that activity, but it was nothing at all I would ever have made me feel bad about myself. |
| From what I know, fraternity pledging and sorority pledging are two very different experiences. |
| “blow or blow” is quite common and nearly everyone takes the dildo option. It is very rare to choose the other option. It is just plain fun. No harm. Everyone laughs their ears off. You guys are making too big a deal out of it. |
Wait, are you saying that most take the option of having a dildo shoved up their private parts? |
Fraternities also have been far, far worse with hazing and that has not changed. |
Social death. Isn’t that obvious? |
I don't think that is one of the options! |
| Most sororities don’t have hell nights anymore but most did in the 99s and 00s. Way too much whitewashing in this thread |
Not at my large southern state flagship we didn't. |
They absolutely are very, very different. |
Who is denying the drinking? |
Not at my D1 midwest college. |
And also not at my PA LAC (but the frats did). |
