So now a sibling getting married is a failure to launch? |
| I think it's fair to say no as long as you're consistent and clear about your inability to host and follow through on that. You don’t do dinner parties, no summer BBQs, no Thanksgiving or kids Birthday parties, etc. |
| It is the right and generous thing to do, OP. |
|
I assume the groomsmen will come dressed. They arent doing hair and makeup. They are just going to hang out for a little while.
No big deal. |
| I feel sorry for your henpecked husband. Remember it's his house too. |
A sibling who is too cheap or lazy to book a hotel room to hang out in before the ceremony is. 100%. |
Are you always this condescending to your husband or is it just around him family. |
| I can’t believe this is up for debate. Proving once again that DCUM attracts a high percentage of antisocial people. (No brainer for me and I’m an introvert who is not particularly aocial(. |
|
Ugh, sorry, op.
I'd say no, don't have the room. |
This |
All of thissssss |
| I would say yes, ofc |
| People are socially stunted on this site. It’s baffling. Does hospitality not exist in Nova? |
Unfortunately it does not. When I travel outside this area I'm amazed at how friendly and laid back people are. I can't wait to move. And I grew up here. The 80's were great but now it's so crowed, traffic gets worse every year and people are mean. |
For a few hours? The timing doesn’t work out if you need to check out in the morning or can’t check in until 3. |
