Several of us have said that our neighborhood roads are rough in this pyramid. I am sure where you were it was fine (as are the main roads) but that is not the case all over the county. |
Not PP, but explain to me how what I can both see, slip on, and slide on outside is not true? Are you saying it doesn't exist? |
It is completely clear but about 1/10 in thick |
| I think they would have called it by now right? |
They don’t have time, they’re busy posting on forums about how clean, safe and not icy the streets are. |
| I'm assuming if no call by 8 pm, there isn’t going to be one. |
| 2 hour delay |
| No delay, or they would have made a “monitoring the weather” post |

| I heard they are waiting to 5am tomorrow morning to make a decision. |
Main street was fine, but there were parts of the parking lot across the street that were iced up. Red Fox Forest is very shady, I suspect they most likely have ice. We’re in Somerset South and the sunny parts were clear, but the street you turn into from Braddock is quite shaded and that was all ice. And that’s where the busses come into and where the middle school bust stop is, at 7am. |

If there a 2 hour delay a lot kids will skip school becuase parents are not home when they have to go to school. IDK This reason we can't have a delay sadly. blame it on the kids that skip school |
| I don't really want my middle schooler waiting in the dark when it's 19 degrees outside, but I sure did when I was a kid in Michigan and it was fine. Assuming the bus arrives on time (and thank goodness for the bus app to tell us if it is on time), my kid will be outside for no more than 2 minutes. It's fine. Your kids will be fine. |
Gee FCPS, can you make things anymore difficult for your families with young kids or your staff with long commutes? Other school systems got this figured out. |
