Husbands - low value

My go getter husband does not tell me what to do. I handle the house and kids with very little input from DH. I hire and outsource as I please.

No, he doesn't want to deal with minutiae, nor should he. He has standards that align with my standards. I execute and manage houses and outsource as I see fit and spend as I feel necessary. He makes all of the money, I monitor it.

Half my girl friends have husbands who are the primary earners. The other half are the primary earners. In my circle, those with husbands that earn less are definitely not low-value men. They make significant contributions to the family and take on the bulk of caregiving, and they come from families that are relatively well off. I’m envious of it, really. I always wonder what it would be like to have a husband who cooks, cleans, and takes on the mental load of the kids. Sounds like a dream.

I’m sure OP’s friends are not very attractive. They ended up with Beta men.
Attractive women like Melania end up with Alpha men. They aren’t complaining about their husbands underachieving.
