Posters on this sub can’t handle disagreements, they call anyone who is not 100% in agreement with them some weird words in their languages and also trolls, Vlad’s, etc.
we need to be understanding though, it really pains them to see how things are turning out.

The best is when the White House issued a statement declaring that Russia had pinky promised not to hit energy and infrastructure targets for 30 days. The Russians are openly mocking Trump. It remains mystifying to me why Republicans have decided to ally with Russia. I mean the state of New York has an economy that's bigger than Russia's. I thought Trump was an expert negotiator? Would an expert negotiator reach a deal "at all cost"? Is it 4D chess to wait on the phone for an hour hoping that Putin would pick up like a jilted ex-lover?

You don't accurately characterize Trump. In the most flattering light, he is a blowhard that over promises and under delivers. Whatever comes of the Ukraine-Russia situation, under Trump's leadership it will be a disaster for Ukraine AND the US and will benefit Russia.

It will be a disaster only for you in the US. It would be good for most other US citizens. More money for us to spend on our own people. As for the Ukrainians, it could be a disaster for them but it's their problem to solve. When you are not a strong country you make compromises to live in peace with your neighbors. Ukraine and Russia are like members of the same family. They will figuer it out. We should stay out of it.
