I know, right? But putting Trump on hold for an hour isn't even the best part. The best is when the White House issued a statement declaring that Russia had pinky promised not to hit energy and infrastructure targets for 30 days. Russia then issued a statement clarifying that, no, they very much plan on continuing to hit infrastructure in Ukraine, just not "energy infrastructure," whereupon they immediately hit a Ukrainian power plant.

The Russians are openly mocking Trump. It remains mystifying to me why Republicans have decided to ally with Russia. I mean the state of New York has an economy that's bigger than Russia's. We don't need anything from there. Why are Republicans so enamored with this weak, second-rate, mafia-run backwater? And why are Republicans so keen on destroying 80 years of American hegemony in favor of Russia? It's like they're traitors or something.
