I sincerely hope that they make a movie about this operation.

18 months in the planing and execution and included planting the drones in Russian trucks where the drivers unwittingly transported them thousands of miles away from Ukraine.

And of course they’re not telling us anything because Trump will tell Putin.

I wonder if there are several countries withholding intelligence from us.

The first country to withhold intelligence from the US Government was the US. The US leads and the world follows.

At least before Trump this was the case. Assume most other nations are keeping the US out of the loop now.

This is why time is on Putin’s side. NATO gets more unstable by the day as a relatively minor conflict brings tensions to the fore.

Love this for Z and Ukraine. The drones used were in the making for about a year. Right around the time that Musk shut down starlink to Ukraine territory ready to launch many of the drones used in this recent attack. Most of the drones were destroyed, but they retrieved them anyway and refurbished what was salvageable. The new stellar drones are not dependent on Starlink. I read this info back when they interviewed someone I won’t name. It’s probably been scrubbed. Oh and Z used Russian drivers to deliver the destruction. No intel given. Genius! Kegsbreath and TACO are suckers and losers.

No Putin is having to kill his bodyguards. The economy is crashing and the generals and billionaires are getting itchy. Putin is done. It is just a question if he pulls Trump down with him.

LOL. Why does Trump and so many fake patriots side with a loser dictator? 🙄 The US is toast if people don’t wake up.

If you believe the polls there are still an insane number of people supporting Trump, so country might already be toast. There’s no reprogramming these folks. Best case might be that we keep it bearable for a few more decades.

I’d love to be wrong, though!

It's very impressive that they were able to hit the Crimea Bridge again. Too early to say what kind of damage the explosives did. But Ukraine is really excelling at asymmetric warfare. Their ability to harness new technology is extraordinary. These explosives were planted by underwater drones. And this is days after Ukraine took out a quarter of Russia's strategic bombers. I fear that the US military is now years behind given the rapid changes in warfare. Ukraine is showing us where the future of war is.

Only a few US special forces units are training with drones. Our regular units are totally unprepared to deal with this type of war.

Also Israel is going to have problems. Iran is building and supplying the Russians with drone.

DP. The American public is notoriously fickle. They may eventually get tired of Trump and his shenanigans. The real problem I see is that Americans don't share the same set of facts because they live in different news ecospheres. That's not going to change any time soon. Maybe after Rupert Murdoch finally departs this earth.

Ukraine is on pace to produce more than 4 million drones this year. Right now, more than 50 percent of all casualties in the Ukraine war are due to drones. Their existence and lethality has made traditional operations by infantry, armor, and field artillery basically suicide missions. And if this is what Ukraine is managing to do, we can only imagine what China is capable of. Meanwhile, we have a Secretary of Defense who's primary focus is on library books and posters on bases and installing Trump loyalists in the upper ranks. We are so unprepared for modern war.

Now that Ukraine has shifted to terrorism, is it safe to say they aren't killing Russians 10-1?

Bombers and bridges have always been legitimate targets in war. It's the Russians that are targeting apartment buildings. And no matter how you look at it, Russia's invasion of Ukraine has been catastrophic for Russians. Their three day special operation has turned into a three year quagmire that has nearly destroyed their conventional forces. They've lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers and most of their military hardware. There is nothing for the pro-Russia morons to gloat about.

You sure have built a weak argument based on incorrect assumptions.

Congrats?

Ukraine is out there hammering military targets using asymmetrical warfare while Russia deliberately targets civilians and kidnaps children. Dude, how do you live with yourself?

Yes! The anti-DEI, anti-trans crusaders in our government are now surpassing the pro-DEI/pro-trans elements of our society in their zeal to promote their views. And the Project 2025 insistence on replacing govt employees with GOP/Trump loyalists is not going to end well for us. None of that is making us safer or preparing us for all the things coming our way, whether AI or modern drone warfare or new epidemics.

It’s terrorism to destroy the enemy’s military aircraft and bridges used to transport military personnel and supplies? Interesting definition of terrorism you have.
