The problem is that you believe that Trump wants what you want, which is to help Ukraine restore its territorial integrity.
He is not fighting for that and made it clear many times. 
He wants the war to end so he can do business with Russia. That’s his objective. He doesn’t care about Ukraine. Why don’t you get it?

I thought Trump was an expert negotiator?  Would an expert negotiator reach a deal "at all cost"? Is it 4D chess to wait on the phone for an hour hoping that Putin would pick up like a jilted ex-lover?

You don't accurately characterize Trump. In the most flattering light, he is a blowhard that over promises and under delivers. Whatever comes of the Ukraine-Russia situation, under Trump's leadership it will be a disaster for Ukraine AND the US and will benefit Russia.[/quote]
