Ukraine clearly won't accept that, so....I guess that puts the US on the other side from Europe as any hostilities intensify.

Turkey has already said no to that.

Turkey had said “no” to what, exactly?

He negotiates from a position of weakness.

This guy knows nothing about deals and negotiating.

The problem is that you believe that Trump wants what you want, which is to help Ukraine restore its territorial integrity.
He is not fighting for that and made it clear many times.
He wants the war to end so he can do business with Russia. That’s his objective. He doesn’t care about Ukraine. Why don’t you get it?
He is getting what he wants in these negotiations.

The war will never end through negotiations it Crimea going to Ukraine is a concrete term. The war may end through force, however, when Russia had Kyiv. Trump is a realist on this.

I see a ruskaya suchka troll on here. If posting from US, go back to Russia. If posting from there, enjoy the havoc sanctions are causing to your crap economy.

Always funny that Russians think their country is great, when it's economy is the size (smaller) than Italy's but Russia has 3x the population. As someone else said, Russia, a gas station run by mobsters. Outside of oil (which is just what their land has) nothing of value has come out of Russia since the 1990.

Russia is a joke. Their heritage is incompetence, corruption, and autocracy. Everything they do is a like a cheap Soviet knockoff - from their mimicry of Western European artforms to their joke of an economy and lack of innovation. A very uninspired people.

Russia knows it has a weak minded and feeble lackey in Trump. It is crazy to watch the US surrender to an insignificant count like Russia.

They used to. Now the US has them. A ridiculous percentage of notable American musicians, artists, scientists, etc. are of Russian heritage.

+1. They actively drove out the few citizens they had that weren’t completely mediocre.

DP It is in turkey’s interest to stop the Russians in Ukraine. Russia could collapse at any time. Too bad the coup was lead by a moron. He should have kept driving those tanks to Putin’s door.

The truth will fall on the propagandized, deaf ears of the Democrats who frequent this website. As long as they can convince themselves they're smarter than MAGA, they're content being dim-witted, easily deceived ideologues with zero understanding of history and fatal ignorance of the world beyond the American northeast.

We don’t have to convince ourselves we’re smarter than MAGA. My Golden Retriever is smarter than MAGA.
