I had an epiphany today: I don’t hate trump - I hate his supporters.

And since then, then more than half of the Trump supporters went right ahead and proved her right by leaning into being deplorable, with their whole "f your feelings" "FJB" and one crass, rude, hateful insult and attack after another after another directed at anyone and everyone who didn't agree with them, including their own, like Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and others.

Only like 3 states matter for the DNC primary anyway. By the time New Hampshire and Iowa are done the stage is set and my state has never been a deciding factor. The entire primary system is already pretty dumb.

It really made me sad when I came to this realization today, because until now, I assumed that things were going to be awesome after the election and we’d never have to suffer his buffoonery again. But then I realized his supporters aren’t going anywhere. They’re still going to be around regardless of whatever happens to him. And that infuriated me.

I just don’t know how to get past this. I’m just consumed with anger at the realization that probably should’ve occurred to me earlier, but didn’t. I was so consumed with hating trump that I wasn’t able to see who I truly should’ve been hating even more. And now realizing that these people will still be around after he goes away, it just ruins everything.

Very upset tonight. Can barely contain my rage.

His supporters hate America and all that it stands for. They’re also super weird.

Please provide a citation that “Republicans / Trump hate LGBT people.” Because I’m a Republican and certainly don’t hate the LGBT community, nor do I know anyone who does. Plenty of us have beloved friends and family members who are gay/trans. So where, exactly, is your proof that Trump hates this community?

Doesn’t sound like anyone I know - not even remotely. The only objections people I know have is not wanting gender instruction (of any gender) in elementary school. Sex Ed - sure. But of course, that’s something Democrats want to roll gender discussion into.

Well, that’s who your governing coalition includes and they’re not an insignificant number of people. Like with abortion the Republicans will need to follow through on what their constituents want, particularly these wedge issues. If you care about LGBT rights, the Republican Party is not for you.
