It still simplifies the issue of an instate school who wants to recruit 2 2026s from the same club that might be on different teams because of birth year. It allows them to wrap it up in one game and maximize their reach at events. You must be dense. |
^^^ This is a fact! |
You obviously don't know how college soccer recruiting actually works You must think college coaches are dense 🤣 |
Is this an SYC coach trying to defend the GA again? You’ve seriously got no clue. |
You apparently think this is the movies where a coach is driving around with clipboards and his clothes in the backseat. Driving from field to field watching random games and taking notes about players he's never heard of before Before calling back to the athletic director from a roadside payphone |
So - what’s simpler? A college coach going to a match to watch 2 specified 2026s on the same field? Or 1 playing in an 07 game and 1 playing in an 08 game? Do they get to see more scheduled players throughout the day because they aren’t having to navigate 2 age groups? Or do they see less games? Go back to elementary school and work on those problem solving skills. |
Because watching 2 prospects in two separate games has been killing college recruiters for soccer all these years. As said by a PP, you're inventing a non existent problem. Could be more convenient isn't a problem resolution. |
Is it a problem? Or is it expanding the opportunity for your players to be seen? Your Springfield is really showing. It’s making you look really dumb. |
you're obviously a girl parent |
Are boys in the DMV even recruited to college anymore?? Of course people only care about the girls side. |
does this mean that some players get an addition year of U8 |
DMV is not popular recruiting for most sports anymore. If you listen to the college coaches, they recruit based not just on the athlete, but the family. And DMV parents are awful compared to the rest of the nation. “Do you know who I am?” (“Scheduler for no-name congressman”) types are Coach and team nightmares. |
“Asking for a friend who is a parent of a Pre-pre-pre-ECNL Junior Elite Premier Player” |
lol about “playing with your friends” on an ENCL team. |
That “no-name congressman” is one of the most powerful people in the free world, pal. And his schedule doesn’t manage itself! |
