How attractive do you think men would rate you on a scale of 1-10?

+1

Me.

Dh loves me and that’s all that matters
I get some deductions for no make up, bad hair, muffin top, old lady clothes, sweatpants and bad skin. Also I’m looking even more poor than usual due to a recent scar. Solid 3 or 4.

I am Latina and in my case it will be black and Latinos. They will rate me a 9; however, white men didn’t even look at me in my 20s.

Blacks and Latinos love all women shapes sizes etc. I do get white guys staring and flirting in my 30s and 40s when I am more in shape.

Agree, but I am petite size 2, so size/shape is not the issue here. I am just not their type.

I'm 54, and for a 54-year-old, probably a 7/8. I have a pretty face, and I work out daily, although I have a few extra pounds. I've done nothing cosmetic to my face, nor do I color my hair, nor am I on HRT. But I still attract looks.

In my 20s, I probably fluctuated between an 8-9.5, depending on my weight.

Probably 10.

Id say 8.5 in my teens and twenties
6 in my thirties
Now a 9 at age 54

I am a POC and have been curvy my entire adulthood. Maybe it is the “Kardashian effect” or something but lately white guys are into me. Much more flirty as I near 40.

I think it's a low self worth kind of question.

My face is probably a 3, body is a 8.

So averages to a 5.

In my 20’s, NYC 8.5 (with a little effort)
Now, like…4. A DC 4.
6.5, 7 with time, time and more effort.

So tired, don’t sleep enough
Survive on caffeine, dehydrated and dry skin
Former wash-n-wear hair just looks terrible most of the time
Hyperpigmentation
Children > self-care
Clothes are all old and out of date. Size fluctuates, don’t understand my new body type or how to dress it.
And I’m not even 45+ yet, which seems to be when things really hit the fan for people.

In terms of self-selection, won’t a lot of the people on here recognize that they could use some help? A genetically-gifted 10 who has always been a 10 has no use for this forum!

This forum has some good tips!

I was high up on the scale in my 20s -- got scouted by a modeling agent, told by several people including one of my college professors that I was the most beautiful person he had ever seen, etc...

But when I had kids (age 32) oh my goodness. I looked so disheveled. I think I stopped combing my hair? And would throw on glasses. I stayed the same size and my husband was always very kind, but I knew I wasn't making the same impression.

Now, in my early 40s, I started working more and using good skin care products and I think I actually look better than I did 5 years ago. And, I picked up an eyeliner trick on this very forum and whenever I used it, men shout at me from their car windows again, and men I know get all giggly when we chat. It's the one about how to subtley line your waterline. It really freaking works. So that's why I come here occasionally!

It might be your confidence. I don’t think men in cars are seeing your subtle waterline.

I suppose I’m delusional, but I’m in my 60s and would rate myself an 8. My body is still in much better shape than most women 40+ years younger.
Also, confidence helps.
