| How do we feel about pizza..it's all fast food or only the chain shops? |
|
This is such a troll post.
‘I do this perfectly and I want to stir up a conversation that will allow me to compare myself favorably to others while justifying the post by pretending that I am so dumb as not to know that once a month is nothing to feel guilty about’. |
You have zero friends who would consider it child abuse. I live in Brooklyn and have friends who send their kids to the Steiner school and are vegan and even they wouldn’t consider it child abuse. You’re just creating conflict |
| About once a week, when we misjudge how insane our schedules are and just say screw it and do drive through. Chick fil A has some healthy options, though usually my family wants filet of fish at McD's. |
I think it probably qualifies as fast food. At least in our house, pizza and Chick-fil-A/5 Guys are in the same category of "Aaah - we're exhausted so let's just get something easy." |
PP here. I don't think CFA is any healthier than any other fast food. It just happens to be close to our house and what we enjoy eating. |
| My kids eat fast food all the time. They regularly eat bean and cheese burritos from Del Taco. They eat broccoli and salmon, and fries with grilled cheese. They are perfectly healthy (thin and participate in sports) and not at all food-focused. They also don’t have strange allergies or intolerances. YMMV! |
| We order pizza or pupusas every other week for the day that both kids have an activity. Noone here likes McD or similar. |
| NEVER! now the reason is not what you think. I have an insane amount of allergens (Wheat, nuts, dairy, etc.. blah blah and have to be extremely careful and did not grow up with fast food so I cannot digest it if I wanted to. My kids naturally picked up on that. My teen may eat at Chik Fil A or a quick restaurant during her open school lunch at her HS but that is it. |
| They are teens and pretty into fitness so not often, once in a while chipotle or chick fil a. Younger they had it rarely, like on road trips. |
