XH leaving kids alone at night regularly

Agreed. I’d be parked outside his house the whole time my kids were alone so they know I’m there.

I wouldn't love this. Plus the point of him having the kids is to spend time with them. Why have them on nights he's not around? I'd ask if we could switch nights to accommodate his classes. I didn't really start leaving my daughter at home alone at night until she was 13.

This. I was on a video call for 9 hours over a weekend when XH left DC-11 with inattentive roommate to stay in a hotel with his girlfriend. My daughter made all her own food. I almost called CPS. The court already ruled that he can have whoever he wants watch her on his time.

I am dealing with exactly the same thing. There’s almost nothing you can do about it which is so deeply frustrating. The kids feel it and also the neglect associated with it. It sucks. When I tried to speak up he dug in deeper…
