Kate should have just gone with a headband or something like everyone else did, but no, she had something commissioned that went as close to being a tiara as you could get without actually being one.

It sits on her head like a tiara but since it has no precious metals or gems, it's not much like a tiara at all.

I agree, there are a few women in their 50s that are obsessed with a woman who has now been dead for almost 30 years and refuse to admit that Camilla is doing a good job and wears age appropriate clothing. Get over it, ladies, Diana is DEAD DEAD DEAD. And she didn't want to be Queen anyway.
