About 100 protesters at the University of California, Davis, surrounded a venue attempting to disrupt an event Tuesday evening headlined by conservative personality and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The event was organized by the school’s Turning Point chapter.

The protesters, who were mostly wearing black, clashed with law enforcement officers and other students, including attendees of the event, as they smashed windows, hurled eggs, used pepper spray and blocked people from entering the University Credit Union Center, where the event was held.

Gosh I hope the liberal intelligencia condemns this protest with the same fervor they have others.

One officer sustained an injury when he was jumped on from behind and pushed to the ground, and two people were arrested and taken to Yolo County Jail for allegedly painting graffiti on an exterior wall of the University Credit Union Center, or UCUC

The cowards of course covered their faces as much as possible. Isn’t the point of college to be have your beliefs challenged and at least allow others to be heard? Shameful.

Naw, not Charlie Kirk. I mean, I guess it would be better to have no reaction and let him speak to an empty room or something but Kirk is an enemy of the state who has actively worked to undermine American democracy. So it makes sense that democracy-loving patriots would make their feelings known about his presence. He’s a vile piece of shit who no one would cry for if he dropped dead today of an aneurysm.

"Democracy-loving patriots" who spray graffiti, break windows, jump police officers, throw eggs and other objects, block entrances, and pepper spray others? You have a very interesting definition of "democracy-loving patriots."
DP

You people just love oversimplifying, muddling and conflating. The people who smashed windows and sprayed graffiti are not "democrats." They are black bloc anarchocommunists. Democrats believe in government and institutions, anarchocommunists do not.

They are widely divergent on most issues, and only have a handful in common, for example they both oppose fascism.

So where are the Democrats condemning this behavior? All we've seen on this thread are the usual liberal apologists, rationalizing this abhorrent behavior away.

Nope.
The very first posts condemn the behavior.
But you’re going to have to prove that it was students that engaged in it.

Nope. There was one post from a liberal who condemned it. The rest of you keep excusing it away. And I don't have to prove a thing - the protesters were on the campus of UC Davis. There is a video showing them. Prove they *weren't* there.

PP can't provide that. Best PP can do is some student designing posters.

The violent clashes were ANTIFA and Proud Boys who fight at all these things.

This "woe is me, my extremist, racist viewpoints are being censored by woke university students isn't that against free speech" whining (hardly a new playbook for these losers) is just really old, tired, and no one is buying it anymore... except Fox News, of course.

I'll tell you what's really old and tired: the insistence that college students aren't involved in these violent and destructive "protests." Protest all you like. But when you engage in illegal activities, you are no longer "peacefully protesting." Maybe get that through your head(s), because no one is buying it anymore.

What part of “not all people at the protest were committing crimes/vandalism” don’t you understand?

Oh! So then you agree, not all people at J6 were committing crimes/vandalism. Glad you finally admitted it. Have a superb day.

WAIT JUST A MINUTE HERE!!!!

Antifa is just "an idea!" That is what we have been told repeatedly. Jerry Nadler says they don't exist. Biden calls Antifa "an idea." Hell, even Joy Behar says they don't exist.
How can "an idea" cause violence and break windows?

And, what proof do you have that these were NOT students who were "protesting" on........<checks notes> ..... a college campus?

Exactly. What a joke. Even the media is saying some Antifa were there (along with college protesters). But we've been told they don't exist! How utterly confusing!

The group of protesters is in no way collectively responsible for the actions of other random unaffiliated people.

But wait - have you been harping about J6 protesters throughout this thread?

Of course not all of them did. And again, HUNDREDS of those who trespassed inside the Capitol on January 6th got off scot free, no charges, nothing.
And don't trot out your bullshit "but whaddabout this guy who was only inside the Capitol for 1 minute and did absolutely nothing" because that's for the courts to decide. Meanwhile I can find you thousands of hardened inmates with long rap sheets who were caught red handed with piles of evidence but who will still entertain anyone who comes along with a sob story of "I dint do nuthin!"

There are actually thousands that the DOJ is still looking to arrest and charge. DOJ should have charged everyone with sedition, rioting, destruction of federal property and assault on federal agent. That would easily reach 50-75 years

It was basically new front on the Antifa-Proud Boys clashes in Portland and Charlottesville.

Kirk and his disgusting ilk choose college campuses to provoke incidents like this. The Proud Boys, who are a criminal organization that hates America and all that it stands for, are largely responsible for the violence.

DCUM says Kirk hates America. So why would the Proud Boys protest him?

You are truly all kinds of stupid. Were you dropped on your head multiple times as a child?

Cute. Insulting the pp. But, you didn't answer the question.

Proud Boys are aligned with Kirk, not protesting him. They are there to fight the patriots in the Antifa movement.

Kirk and the Proud Boys are anti-American white supremacists and fascists. They are on the same side. And you know this.

You are not nearly as clever as you think.

"Patriots"??
DP

Yea, last I checked opposing fascists was a core American value. Why do you hate America and all that it stands for?

The fact that you think Antifa is “anti-fascist” because of what they call themselves is laughable.
They are actually the fascists here.
