I have a fulfilling job. If I did not I would not consider it logical to work the hours I do.
It is, by the way, WHOLLY by design that publishing is for “kids with trust funds”. They can pay better and choose not to in order to weed out a wider candidate pool. If you can’t find fulfillment in a job you shouldn’t be wasting your passion there— you should take the money and invest the time on things which do being you fulfillment. So OP you’re a terrible manager if you manage people because inspiring people to believe they’re going to find fulfillment in menial tasks is basically your whole job in late-stage capitalism. |
