I don’t think she’ll win.
If she does, there is a building movement for a write in campaign in November |
| I personally detest the idea of paying one more huge salary to this woman or giving her one more privilege she grabbed for herself from the city (but not Ward 1). I feel almost the same I did about the prospect of Trump winning the 2nd term. In my observation, they are a similar type of operator. Eight years of Brianne on the public teat is more than enough. Basta! |

Brianne rejects there’s been any change to the quality of life. Out!
WaPo: There have been more than 90 victims of homicide in the District this year, a roughly 13 percent increase from the same period in 2021. Killings have climbed in the city each of the past four years, and violent crime is a top concern for residents and a mayor facing a primary on Tuesday in her bid for a third term. |
| Her supporters are vandalizing all of the Salah signs in Ward 1. It is disgusting behavior. |
LOL. She’s a weak incumbent but she’ll win the primary. Write in candidates never win. |
Is this projection? Look, Nadeau sucks but you aren’t going to beat her with this stuff. |
| I don’t care if all 3 have a fistfight. I care that Nadeau goes because she’s presided over some of the worst decline in just about every metric of life for Ward 1 residents of every color and income level |
| What’s telling is that the argument from her supporters is: yeah, she sucks, so what she’ll win |
And because she’s beholden to petty interests, particularly her own (income, interest free loans from the city). She’s fighting for her own survival and lifestyle she has become accustomed to, let’s be real |
| I had a conversation with Brianne at the Col Heights farmers market on Saturday. I didn't see Salah or Sabel there. Speaks volumes. |
