Well, in DC, the schools aren't following CDC guidance that schoolkids can unmask indoors. Hell, some schools aren't even allowing kids to mask OUTDOORS.

I don’t know if that’s true or not, but either way shouldn’t that be something DC residents handle?

They can believe whatever they want. It's just not following public health guidance, as set by the CDC. It's an easy mark if you want to argue that government officials are overstepping public health goals (for what reason in this case, I don't know. Satisfy the teachers union? Satisfy the minority of anxiety-riddled parents?). The people in DC have religiously followed CDC guidance for 2 years. Only now, they decide they don't need to? No, you follow the experts, even when they say things you don't like. That's "following the science."

Saw a handful of vehicles with flags and window paint on the beltway cruising at speed around 1 near Tysons. What surprised me were the dumbasses on the overpasses waving at them. Just standing there with flags about to blow away. Pathetic.
