I thought this wasn’t even going to be an issue, if at all, until March 5

What does this have to do with their protest?

The Russian troll farms have all switched to hyping the war so there's no one to egg on the "protesters."

Simple minds trying to explain things away..

They stuck out like a sore thumb in our neighborhood. My guess was that they had just arrived in DC and seemed to be idling while they figured out where to go next. They hung out in front of our house for about 45 minutes before moving on.

I would have dropped some nails on the street.

So all the neighbors can get flat tires for the next 3 months?

Thank God I don’t live next to anyone as shitsimple stupid as you.

There is a 40 mile long convoy. So long it’s been spotted from space by satellites.

It’s trucks. And many tanks. And Artillery.

They plan to murder anyone left in Kyiv. This is all Putin’s doing.

But now just go back to your freak-out over a little honking. I’m sure it’s more important to you.

A little honking? Typical Republican gaslighting. Those snowflakes aren't going to get the reception they are expecting.

As long as I can get to National Airport on Saturday morning...

I cross the 14th St Bridge and at every exit there are at least two police vehicles with lights on and some have snow plows with them. This is causing backups as people slow due to the lights. For the first time since pre covid, the bridge backed up past pentagon city mall.

It was hilarious to see some entitled a-hole in a Range Rover coming off the 14th street bridge onto Maine Ave this afternoon to drive up onto the median between the freeway and Maine Ave thinking they could somehow bypass everyone else and drive up on the median, only to go bouncing quite inelegantly and then dragging a bunch of grass and dirt right back onto the road behind them.

Y'all be chill folks. The idiot truckers aren't even here yet. And we'll do just fine schlepping their big dumb asses out of here when they finally do show.

I don't think the truck drivers will block the metro so you should be able to get there.

Idling is illegal in DC. Report them to 311.

People in our neighborhood take photos of the license plates. Reconnaissance right back at 'em! LOL!

Anonymous wrote:I read an article yesterday about a bunch of truckers that were still in Arizona, stopping for rallies in towns along the way. They were camping overnight in the desert and locals brought them food and hung out with them. They seemed to be having a great time. The description said that there were hundreds of people in the gathering, but that included some unknown number of locals. They are still heading east and presumably picking up others on the way. Hopefully their numbers will drop as gas prices continue to increase. The plan to keep them out of DC proper probably takes the wind out of their sails too.

The "protest" is stupid, but at least they are having a good time. Everyone needs a boost of spirits these days. As long as they do no harm, it's fine. Silly, but fine.

As long as the state troopers are there handing out tickets to anyone obstructing traffic or violating noise ordinances, they're welcome to come.

There is nothing silly, but fine about the losers.

I thought it was pretty funny that they were coming here to jam up traffic. Clearly they don't spend any time here, we don't need any help with that.
