Especially when there’s not much they can do with them. What do people think would have happened if Ukraine had let them cross the border, that Poland would just let them waltz in? Of course not. Without the proper documentation, they would have been sent back to Ukraine, and then Ukraine would have been slowed down that much more in processing people to leave in order to process those people back into the country.

The problem is that Poland is opening its borders ONLY for Ukrainian refugees due to war. If you are from India or Africa, it is very difficult to verify that you are legitimately fleeing war in the Ukraine and that you were there legally and aren't using the chaos to try to enter Poland as an authorized immigrant. If they are students, they should have left weeks ago.

I absolutely believe some citizens of African countries may have been subject to racism in the context of this war (which is terrible!) but much of what’s being cited as racist behavior simply is not. this is absolutely a Russian troll talking point also being amplified by their state propagandists. They also say the whole war is to “denazify” Ukraine while sending tons of assassins to kill the President, a Jewish descendent of Holocaust survivors.

Sure. If they were really worried about fleeing war, they would have left when warned to do so. Unlike Ukrainians, they had the right to go elsewhere.

News reported Mo Creek was threatened by his team management/owner that if he left Ukraine he wouldn’t get his back pay, they'd cancel his contract and he wouldn’t get any money. Then Thursday happens and the same team won’t help him get out of the country, he can’t get any help from

Poland is letting people in. It is the Ukrainian soldiers who are not letting these people out. Putin is scum but what the Ukrainian soldiers are doing is not right. These videos of Indian and Nigerian students not allowed to pass, being beaten by Ukrainian soldiers does not look good. Any wonder why Nigeria and India are neutral?

OP never answered the question of the legal status of these people. Entries are country specific even under emergency situation. Without passports and visas, they cannot just walk in.

OP never answered the question of the legal status of these people. Entries are country specific even under emergency situation. Without passports and visas, they cannot just walk in.

Are you that dumb? So many links above showing students being detained at the Ukrainian border, beaten and you talk about passports and visas. You think they are stupid to get to the border without their passports and visas? They are all young. Many are med students, so they are not dumb sh*t like you.
