Well I have a white friend who married an African American and raise their children in the African American culture (Kwanzaa, etc). That happens all the time with different races. It's called an interracial relationship.

Is she trying to pass for black? Did she convert to black?

Stop being pedantic. No one is denying that Judaism is also a religion. But you can’t convert your ethnicity to Jewish - only your religion

Of course you can. Ethnicity is the fact or state of belonging to a social group that has a common national or cultural tradition. Once you marry into a Jewish family and convert, you are ethnically Jewish. Maybe not from birth, but your ethnicity and cultural identity are now Jewish.

I accept converts for what it's worth. But it's just dumb to argue that their DNA will now show they're jewish like mine does.

And this is how you know race is a social construct. The more we realize we are not different, the more progress we'll make. Woke culture is becoming too divisive. It's overcomplicating things and making a zillion subgroups who are harmed in ever sophisticated ways. But skin color isn't a better line to divide people on than height or tolerance for spicy food.
