The 1/6 texts are SO revealing...

For one it shows how closely FOX News hosts were coordinating with the Trump administration...

For another it shows a complete departure between what they were saying publicly versus what they were saying privately.

For months, Ingraham, Hannity, Kilmeade and other FOX hosts peddled Trump's Big Lie about "tHe eLEcTiON wUz StOLeN!" which is what built up the insanity leading to the 1/6 rally.

Ingraham, Hannity, Kilmeade and the others KNEW this was Trump's doing, and that is clearly shown in their texts imploring Trump to call on his mob to stand down.

But then on their shows, that very night and in following days, they peddled even more lies for spin and damage control, to falsely deflect blame like "iT wUZ AnTiFA!" and when that didn't fly, to try and falsely gaslight and downplay, "thEy WeRE ToURiSTs!"

Lies, denials, deflections, ANYTHING but admit to what they clearly recognized in their frantic texts to Meadows, that this was Trump's doing, with his toxic, destructive election lies that FOX helped amplify and spread. They had earnestly hoped to overturn the election, but it went south with violence.

Horrible. They are culpable. They knew. They should face consequences.
