I keep some ground chicken in the fridge and when I get hungry I make little patties and eat them with barbecue sauce.

Beans! They’re cheap, filling, and can be prepared many different ways. Chili, tacos, burritos, in soups, Cajun red beans and rice, etc.

Also, grilled chicken or salmon.

For a tv-watching snack, I like popcorn, raw veggies and dip, or cheese and crackers.

Variety of food groups. I try to do a whole grain/complex
High fiber carb, a protein, heathy fats with each meal- plus lots of fruits and vegetables. I like my sweets so I make sure to include sweet things since they are satisfying. Real dark chocolate, Greek yogurt with honey drizzled, or medjool dates are my favorite sweet snacks

Steel cut oatmeal. Sometimes I make it with egg ( like kasha) to add protein, and to make the texture lighter. I’ll do various add-ins like peanut butter, raisins, or chocolate chips, or granola, or even shredded cheese, but it’s more filling without the add-ins.

Do you know about the very gimicky sounding miracle noodles? I make a soup with them and bone broth, top with veggies and herbs. So delicious and very filling.
