Tours and interviews are being cancelled so we may not get to see the campus’ and facilities at some of these schools we are applying. Who has the best Gymnasiums and the best facilities?
We have a middle school boy applying and things are starting to effect our evaluation of these schools. |
It’s affect fool |
You forgot the period at the end of your sentence. |
Do you mind listing your schools? May be easier to give input. |
| Holton |
| Suing their contract for shoddy work. ‘Nuff said. |
| Landon and Maret have the best facilities. Holton is not accepting boys. Sidwell is about to be part of a strip mall. GDS has gotten nicer in recent years. Really, you can’t go wrong as long as you stay away from Sidwell. |
Without a doubt SJC. |
Agree. The new athletic addition is collegiate level. The gym is top notch, exceptional locker rooms, nutrition lab, whirlpools, 2 weight rooms, 2 basketball courts, classrooms, etc. |
| Geesh- Maret’s facilitates are tiny! Depending on grade- Norwood has great facilities for MS (5-8). Sidwell and Potomac School have great facilities. Bullis can’t be best if facilities is your focus. |
| Beat not best |
I agree that the ward 3 development crowd is overbuilding that stretch of Wisconsin and should be stopped from further traffic and sun blocking carnage in the name of pricey one bedrooms, but sidwell is hardly part of a strip mall |
Facilities are important. I'm less familiar with the 6th grade entry, but often the school pick the family, not the reverse. Yes, some facilities are better than others, but good educations can be had at all. |
Nutrition lab? Do they help athletes with their personal diets? |
| Maret is small but GDS is really tiny given they have all their students on that one small block. A place like Landon is so much larger. Then again, you have to be at Landon…. Nevermind. |
