That's a tablespoon per person. Many people will put a tablespoon of mayo on a sandwich. I'm going to guess that OP puts more than a tablespoon of chicken in each sandwich, plus other things. |
Yall are bizarre. Who cares this much about chicken salad? |
I think chicken salad is fine and I also think most people are fairly flexible about what they eat even if the exact amount of mayo is not what they would prepare for themselves. That said I would likely have an alternative sandwich option like turkey out on the table as well. |
Ohh you’re the confidently incorrect poster from earlier. Got it. I can tell you don’t know wtf you’re talking about because you’re comparing a smear on a deli sandwich to what you would use to dress chicken salad. Again, you clearly have no clue what you’re talking about. |
If its so little then leave it out all together. Then everybody wins. |
Please tell us all about your famous chicken salad. Share the recipe. |
+1 Gross |
For all the people saying no and gross, what do you serve guests for lunch? There is no single food that pleases everyone. There’s a good chance that those who are in the chicken salad camp wouldn’t like what you like. And that’s fine. As a host, you do your best to please your guests but you’re not operating a restaurant. |
I don’t use a recipe, but even if I did…what would be the point of posting a recipe for someone who’s dumb enough to think more than “a smear” of mayo is too much to dress 6 servings of chicken salad? You can post all day, you’re still clearly f-ing clueless about food. |
lol. There aren't too many foods that will get a "no way, gross!" reaction to the idea of eating it like you're seeing in here. Why are you so worked up over a lowly chicken salad? |
As well it should. |
Tf eats cold lobster rolls? Hot with drawn butter is the only way |
NP No. Lobster is freaky. Not into it. Would demolish a curried chicken salad sandwich that includes mayo. It’s just enough to carry the spices and keep it together. |
Why not? This is how I last ate chicken salad. In Italy. |
I eat pretty much everything, but I dislike mayo based foods. I would grit my teeth and politely eat the chicken salad. It’s a somewhat old fashioned dish that I’m sure your in-laws love, but it’s not as universally loved these days. Did your husband request a jello salad as well?
