Men wearing gym shorts over tights/leggings

Anonymous
Do you want to see a giant c**k while working out?

Unlike women, men have stuff you can see between their legs.

You moms would be reporting men to the police as sexual predators if all they wore were skintight leggings like women do because you'd easily see their snakes protruding through tights.

No equivalent? What about sweat pants? If the purpose of the legging is to provide warmth, why not wear sweat pants instead of shorts?

Because sweat pants are too baggy. You don't want baggy clothing to get in the way while lifting, it can cause serious injury if it messes you up. For example, if you do deadlifts, you don't want baggy sweats getting tangled up with barbell and messing up your form or distracting you. You have to literally raise the bar up along your shins.

I don’t really mind if men wear tight pants, it reminds me not to look at their crotches. But shorts over tight pants are also fine.

I object to crotch grabbing/itching/shifting.

Looks ridiculous.

It looks like you’re wearing a dress and tights, which is fine if it makes you happy.

Sweatpants don't need to be clown pants. I deadlift and can't imagine this happening. I also wear shorts because I am inside. The whole tights thing is just strange.

I, a woman, don't see anything wrong with shorts over tights. I don't judge men's workout outfits, and I'd appreciate the same from them.

Why on earth did someone re-animate this thread from 3 years ago? It's like on its three year anniversary, we all needed to revisit this important topic?

I’m 68 years old fit and I wear compression tights/ leggings/athletic gear working out cutting the lawn doing the gardens but somehow this makes me gay. I don’t know what era or where people grew up but in the seventies and early eighties compression was worn by both men and women. Remember Suzanne Summers work out show with thigh master. We didn’t worry about fat rolls or penis bulge it sounds so absolutely foolish the shit people worry about today.

+1 Woman here so what if a penis shape or vagina outline shows. Its all fully covered unlike the butt floss shorts women wear that is so gross and unhygienic with no barrier to sweat and bodily fluids.

(man) I wear leggings because they're extremely comfortable, especially while working out. I like wearing underwear underneath because it eliminates a lot of the aforementioned outline issues mentioned, but don't like wearing anything over them. It's just more comfortable. I do try to wear longer shirts, but to me, it really just isn't that serious. I do get some weird looks sometimes, but there are haters everywhere. I just go about my business..

New feature on Chrome - digs out your old DCUM threads on the anniversaries. Works like a charm!

Anonymous wrote:WTF is up with guys wearing these tights/leggings with a pair of gym shorts on top of them? Is there some sort of practical reason as to why some guys do this? It baffles me and seems like the dumbest fashion statement akin to me wearing a bra over a top.

No the equivalent to a bra over a top would be wearing the leggings over the shorts, which would be dumb.

I thought about adding to this the other day when I was running with my local running group; a girl in the group I run with noticed underwear lines under my leggings and started talking with me about it. Several other guys wear leggings in the group but don't seem to have underwear lines (there also is more of the again aforementioned "outline" issue, which I don't have nearly as much of...

The girl that spoke with me just asked me why I wear underwear underneath, and when I told her the outline issue, she understood and said that it made sense to do so. She told me she doesn't really care about panty lines - I later noticed she had very noticeable panty lines under gray leggings as well.

So my question for the women or leggings-wearing men is, do you care if you have panty lines showing? I really don't, and often see panty lines on women. She said she wears thongs or some type of underwear that doesn't show lines, but sometimes like the day she spoke with me, she wears regular panties and just doesn't care.
