I thought about adding to this the other day when I was running with my local running group; a girl in the group I run with noticed underwear lines under my leggings and started talking with me about it. Several other guys wear leggings in the group but don't seem to have underwear lines (there also is more of the again aforementioned "outline" issue, which I don't have nearly as much of...

The girl that spoke with me just asked me why I wear underwear underneath, and when I told her the outline issue, she understood and said that it made sense to do so. She told me she doesn't really care about panty lines - I later noticed she had very noticeable panty lines under gray leggings as well.

So my question for the women or leggings-wearing men is, do you care if you have panty lines showing? I really don't, and often see panty lines on women. She said she wears thongs or some type of underwear that doesn't show lines, but sometimes like the day she spoke with me, she wears regular panties and just doesn't care.[/quote]
