Off topic I know, but how exactly do you just "run across a stripper discussion site?" |
|
Okay, so I didn't actually just stumble across it.
I was reading another online discussion, someone mentioned a stripper site, I looked it up and was fascinated. |
|
Strippers do give hickies. Its a way of enticement to lure the man into staying, or paying, for another song.
I had the same thing.happen to me, except I'm Not married. And there's no other way of describing it but a rancid putrid embarrassing. Disappointment. But it was a stripper. Not an affair. He had to pay for this to occur. I'm not saying allow it. We actually have stayed together and are stronger for it. But he controls his drinking and doesn't Have lap dances anymore. If u call it naive, then.your opinion is just a different point of view, but I trust him now more than ever bc he saw what he stood to lose if he didn't change. Some men never change. Some do. Trust your heart on this And talk it out like crazy. Don't let ppl judging you get in the way of reconciliation if that is truly what's best for you. And.only u.can decide that. |
And drinking to the point of passing out? Is he in college, or what? |
| I can't believe women are this dumb... Hickey from a stripper!!! Next it will be herpes from a toilet seat. You are ridiculous, Op. |
| Former stripper here (don't judge)- Never ever have I seen anyone give a hickey. Most of us had to drink or take drugs just to be able to work there, yes we hated the men. It's a business. I used my body in lap dances to get more money by: rubbing my breasts in their face and rubbing my body against their crotch to make them finish. Never ever would I kiss a guy or give a hickey, too personal and also that's not going to make them come back for more. I used my body in sexual ways to get them off in lap dances, and hickeys aren't going to get someone off. If your husband hooked up with a stripper after hours, it cost him a few hundred and she wasn't giving hickeys. This was a one night stand or more likely a girlfriend who wants to make her presence known. |

I agree. I am so glad I don't live in this kind of relationship where I'm happy that my partner isn't getting lap dances "anymore." |
|
Have we been taken for a ride? Wondering if OP is for real.
|
Fine that you decided to forgive him. Obviously that's no one's business but yours, but it really sounds like you were lied to also. |
| strippers are like ticks, they carry lyme disease and that may look like a hickey. |
| If you are going to strippers, you will cheat. It's like going to a bar not to drink. |
So you drank the Kool Aid, too. |
| Hard to see how you can save the marriage if you can't get him to admit he lied. |
|
You can do better OP.
Not saying divorce him over this, but I have a feeling there is more to this story and more of a background /pattern of behavior here. Make him do the work and show he's changed. Don't give him the benefit of the doubt and don't let this affect your self-esteem. Time for him to grow up. |
