PP, I'm sorry everyone has been so critical of you. I don't think you have been arrogant in any way. Please just ignore the obnoxious posters. They are jealous because they want what you have but are too lazy to work hard for it. I really admire the fact that you work such long hours and don't complain. You have every right to spend the money you have saved however you choose. Your NF is lucky to have you as you seem to have a very good attitude, unlike many on DCUM who complain constantly about every little thing. I've not posted on this thread before, but I don't think anyone is jealous of this girl. No one in their right mind would want to be in that situation. Young girls often get caught up in the life of the person they are working for, so they "don't mind" that they are being worked to death. No job is worth working the hours she is. From what I have read, she is being underpaid and if she were smart about it, she could make the same amount of money working less hours if she found a family that paid a decent rate and added overtime to it. I've had jobs similar to hers. They aren't worth it in the end. |
