You can ask but she can say no.
You should pay, as you are requesting. If you can't afford to pay for it, how will you pay for a nanny? Nannies are a luxury not a necessity. |
You’re crazy. Most people do you not have vaccine records from when they were a baby or a minor. You’re an expectation to the rule. Most of my records were shredded when my doctored retired and lost during moves. |
| Op here. She had proof of the flu and tdap, but none of the other ones. For people saying we can’t affird a nanny, we can. We can’t pay the highest rate, but we can afford a nanny. |
| You are crazy OP. |
That’s why I have my own records and copies, is what I mean. I had my own even though my doctor retired and closed his practice. But like you said many people don’t have their records |
Wow, so you want them to pay for a titer and you’re paying a low rate? Good luck finding someone |
Yes. If you want proof of her immunizations - or to be immunized - you have to pay for it. I am a nanny and my father is a physician and I am a huge believer in vaccinations but for proof beyond tDAP and flu, I would insist that the employer pay for it of course. |
You are wrong, OP. It is unreasonable. Look into daycare. |
Doctor's daughter again and even I don't have proof of all vaccines. |
If she had measles or mumps, she would never have gotten (or needed) the vaccine or boosters. |
You asked if your were asking too much - and you got your answers. You are asking way too much. If you want it - pay for it. |
No, you can't afford a nanny, OP. And I really hope she doesn't take your job. You are a perfect candidate for daycare - in a large center, they supposedly checked all the workers. |
| I agree with previous posters. Look into daycare. You said you can’t pay a lot sooo daycare might be the way to go. |
| How much is a titer anyway? |
