Exactly, which is why they don't admit to each other how much they really pay their wonderful nannies. Btw, it isn't 15/hr. Good nannies do better than that.

Happy Holidays!

Don't you think your question would be more appropriate in January, considering the fact that bonus time is usually Christmas or end of year?

Isn't it a little early for this poll? Dh and I both get our bonus on Monday (we usually get it about a week before Christmas) and had planned to give DS' nanny her bonus on Tuesday. Is this too late?

Are you the same person posting everywhere that people lie to each other about what they pay their nannies and claim that they pay LESS than what they actually do? That's ridiculous. Why would you POSSIBLY think people would do that? No one wants to be thought of as a cheap jerk.

We have a part time nanny who works 20 hrs a week. Has been with us tor almost 10 months.

Weekly salary $400
Bonus $1000
other gifts: inside joke gifts from ds and a gift basket I put together for her of nursing supplies I needed in nursing school as she will be starting a program in January. Things like a stethoscope that she picked out, a pen light, scissors, books, etc.

She also gets an additional 4 weeks paid vacation as we will be out of the country visiting family for awhile.

You sound wonderful! The other generosity aside, it's SO nice to see an employer being supportive of their employee's educational pursuits.

These bonuses thus far are pretty poor, bland or "standard". I am so glad this post is actually being taken seriously for once! Good job ladies!
