Elementary School-Aged Kids
| Some school systems, will not clean, vomit, poop. My son was denied access to the bathroom and I the Dr wrote a letter to the School. My son say bathroom and pee pee very well, and will continue to do so until he uses the bathroom. |
Um, what? |

First of all, even if there is the slightest, teensiest minuscule chance your child was being abused, WHY WOULDNT YOU LOOK INTO IT???
No second of all. |
| This post is still a thing??? Smdh... |
I only read your post OP but your response is awful. I would be livid if the school did NOT call me in. I’m sure that was traumatic for your daughter and she might be sick. Poop accidents are not normal for 5 year olds. I’m sorry you had to leave work to care for your child. God forbid. |

I JUST got a message from my son's Kindergarten teacher that he had an accident (#2) at recess and they did not ask me to come clean him up, which was surprising. He has never pooped on himself before other than when he had a stomach virus. I would like to think that he just passed gas and something more unexpectedly happened, especially if he had milk at lunch, but this post has me all paranoid that some other issue is going on.
Parenting is mentally exhausting. |
Kids get distracted and don't want to go even if there are set bathroom times. Some teachers restrict bathroom use. It happens. |
Well DCUM is sure your child is being abused.

When my babies were that age I would have jumped and ran to that school, snatched them up lovingly and took them home and loved on them for the rest of the day! What is wrong with you??? Don't you have any feelings?

| School nurse here- we call and have parents come get the child in this type of situation. No staff member (myself included) feels comfortable undressing a kid in a locked bathroom stall, cleaning them up and sending them back to class. It is also not a school nurse's job or a teacher's job. |
I teach at the school that my house is assigned to, and my oldest is in K. Last week, her teacher texted me to say DD had an accident, and since I was at lunch, the teacher knew I was available to come over and deal with it. I was expecting pee, but nope, it was time to impart that valuable lesson, “never trust a fart.” |
Did her teacher immediately suspect abuse?? |
You sound like you have enough for the both of you, crazy baby snatcher. Chill out. |
In OP's case, OP at the very least is emotionally abusive to her child. Don't know if the kid is being sexually abused but a 5 year old who continues to have several pee accidents within the first few weeks of school and then a Poop accident? Do you know what being anally abused does to a child's bowel movements? |

My kids attend a private school and I'd expect this call too for my kindergartner.
My 4th grader recently had a uniform accident. Someone dumped glitter slime on her, soaking her uniform dress. Thankfully, the school found her an extra uniform and helped her out. (She obviously could change herself.) |
